HOBO OR HIPSTER?

An ongoing controversy! Has a beard, and maybe those clothes haven't been washed in a while. Smells like bacon or wood smoke. Perhaps missed the last showering opportunity that wasn't rain. And what the heck is a beatnik?

HOBO DO's & DON'T's

Is it OK to bathe in a fountain? What is the difference between snuff and snoose? How to size up another guys shoes. What do you eat when you got no teeth? Does a strong breeze take away the smell?

ABOUT Hobo Oil

ABOUT HOBO OIL

Every morning, we wake up terribly early to shake the hoboes out of the trees. We like to harvest when the hoboes are dewy fresh and slow-moving.

Hobo oil is harvested by shaking the boughs or the whole tree or raking the hoboes from the individual branches using hand rakes. The ripeness of the hobo at the time of harvest ultimately determines how the oil will taste. Greener hoboes generally will impart more intense, grassy flavors. More mature hoboes will bring forth a spicy, peppery oil that is often darker in color. It's important to remember that great hobo oil starts with high quality, well maintained hoboes.

How this started: A mishearing of "Jojoba Oil" turned into "Hobo Oil", and thus an industry was born.
